2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate and deliver your personalized Violation Defense Kit to your email address.

• Anthropic, Inc. — Your violation details are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your Defense Kit. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and API usage policies.
• Resend, Inc. — Your email address and Defense Kit content are transmitted to Resend to deliver your report to your inbox.
• Stripe, Inc. — Your payment information is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but do not receive your full card details.
• Vercel, Inc. — Our website and API are hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FightMyViolation, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

Your violation details are used to generate your Defense Kit. The generated kit (including the case details you submitted) is stored securely for 90 days so you can access it via your kit link, after which it expires and is eligible for deletion. Your email address may be retained for transactional communication purposes. Payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with their data retention policies and applicable law.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure environment variable storage for API keys, and cryptographic verification of all payment webhooks. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights
